We are starting a new series to kick off 2010. I’m basing it off of the Larry Osborne book “10 Dumb Things Smart Christians Believe”. I love the thoughts behind this book. I think it’s so important to continue to go back to the Word of God and see why we believe what we believe.

Have you ever heard the mysterious verse “God helps those who help themselves”? Well, if you have, it not even in the Bible. Funny how we love to believe things that make us feel better about ourselves. I think once man got involved with church, things started going downhill….hence the word I fear to use “Religion”. Man’s rules and thoughts always have a way of screwing up a God thing.
