Our Worship Night last Friday

This night was AMAZING…it almost went 3 hours long. And that felt like nothing. I loved every minute of it. The worship team, made up of people from our church, Slowburn Church and Mark Young from the Vineyard church in Franklin, rocked it! The band flowed and followed the Holy Spirit the whole night. It could not have been any better if it was scripted.
I’m convinced that true anointed worship can touch any heart, saved or unsaved. I saw all different kinds of people come into this service, and I believe, they walked away mightily changed. I watched people get prayed over for healings, marriage restoration and for God to ignite the fire within them. To see all different people from different churches doing this together was amazing. It shows you the power of God’s church when we can break down all the religious walls and barriers and just come together for one purpose.
I was proud of all the people involved in this night. Everyone rose up to the challenge, including our helpers watching the kids (thank God for them!). We even had Amy, an artist, paint during the night. She came up with a very cool interpretation of what she felt of the night, in a painting. A heart that is hungry for the Word and for God is a great example of what took place that night. I also felt God wanted those that came to know that He loved them very much. Sometimes we can’t hear that enough. Those that don’t know Christ are blown away by the fact that someone could love them despite how messed up their life is. Being involved in nights like this continue to show me that this is the case….God’s love is bigger than we could ever imagine.
What a night…God is blowing me away with the power He is showing during times of worship like these.
