We got some great things going on at SouthView this coming month of April, so I wanted to give you a little preview.

April 12th – Our first SouthView EASTER service. Those of us that have been saved and going to church long enough know that Easter and Christmas are the two services that everybody comes out to. For the regular SouthView attenders, I want to challenge you to really pray about who you are to invite to our Easter Service. I’m asking you to seek God and have him put a person, couple, family, whoever, on your heart and then ASK THEM. Tell them you want them to come see a new thing that God is doing in Spring Hill. Tell them to forget the Easter suit and dress and come as they are. For those that haven’t visited yet, Easter is the best day to try us out. I’m praying that we see some new faces and salvations take place on RESURRECTION SUNDAY!

April 24th – Our First WORSHIP NIGHT!!!! – Super excited about this. I’ve grown up with worship services and there is something very exciting about a time where we come together and worship without barriers. Those of you that love music and worshiping our God, this is your night. We have already invited other churches in the area to be part of this. We will start at 730pm and goto ???. It all depends on how God moves. It’s going to be great…mark your calendars.

April 19th – Special Guest Speaker – Ps Dave Jamerson – Ps Dave comes to us from Indy and used to be Ps Jed & Claire’s pastor. He is also an ex-NBA player and has a great heart for Outreach. I’m excited to have Dave come speak to us on the 19th. It’s going to be a great service.

May 2nd (yeah, let’s talk about May while we are at it) Our first 2009 ComeBack Event. We did a few of these last year and really enjoyed meeting people in the community. This time we are meeting at Harvey Park from 11-2pm. We are going to be giving away free hot dogs, playing music, free giveaways and having some activities for the kids. This is all in the name of reaching out and blessing our community. If you want to be involved in helping with this, let us know. I can’t wait to hang out fellowship with all the great people of Spring Hill.

As a reminder, each month we have our Mens/Womens Small Groups and our new Prayer Groups. Check out the bulletin or our website for dates and times. We are also going to be posting our sermons on our website so you can download and listen to them during the week. It’s the perfect time to catch up, if you missed a week.

God is doing some great things @ the “View”. I refer to it as Spring Hill’s best kept secret. I’m here to get the word out and let others know of what God is doing @ 3011 Harrah Drive! This is just the beginning…
