LeeAnn and I served in our Children’s Church today (I think every Head Pastor needs to do this every so often – it means the world to the kids). You never know how much you appreciate your CC leaders until you go back and serve by watching other people’s kids.

Today was a good day. I got to lead worship for our main service AND our children’s service. There is something amazing when you hear your kids singing worship songs around the house (alot of that starts at children’s church). It takes times like today to impart the power of God’s love into our children so that they can hold firm to the Word as they grow older and need to draw from it.

We got a long way to go in making our CC the top notch place we want it to be at SouthView. We desire it be one of the best places you can take your children to. We do have a great bunch of people that LOVE children and we try our best to provide a safe place for them to be for an hour and 1/2. We also love for them to experience worship and God’s word. No matter the age, kids need to know how much God loves them.

Pray for us as we seek for God’s wisdom as we continue to build our Children’s church. Pray for more great people to come in a help us lead our kids. The way we train up our children now is so important to our future!
