Wow….things are moving along here in the preparation for our first Preview Service for SouthView Community Church. Here’s the lastest and greatest…

-We got a building to meet in!!! The Fun and Party Zone (next to Beef O Brady’s and across the street from Sopranos’) will be the place. It has a huge room with blow up play things for kids. How much fun will our children have while we are in the other room doing our first service!! Check out their website and support this business when you can. How great is it to know we have a place to meet that will hold everyone AND their kids.

-We are having one of our next leaders meetings at the Percy Priest Lake! We will be fellowshipping, eating, boating, tubing and water skiing. What a great way to do a meeting….all fun and alittle bit of business!!

-Thanks to my buddy Lucas Parry for letting us use his video projector and soundsystem. God is providing left and right. I’m so amazed how God continues to provide. Not that I doubted His provision, just that I’m always amazed how great He is! Amazing….

-I continue to hear/meet people that want to check out this new church. It’s almost too amazing (see above). If this church doesn’t have God all over it, I don’t know what does. If we provide a place for people that have no place right now, then we have succeeded! That’s the mission.

-LeeAnn and I (and some of our leaders) visited another church plant in Spring Hill last Sunday. It had the Spirit of God on it and it was refreshing. I’m excited to partner, some way, with other churches in this community. If we can link churches together to help reach this surrounding community then I believe we achieve a huge thing in reaching the lost. How great will it be to see churches join forces to reach a group of people that need Christ. That’s part of the mission of SouthView.
